Site Engineer

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our team and help manage a number of new projects which are mainly located off site. (Primarily along the Surf Coast Region of Victoria)

Duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Manage the progression of a project against the schedule to meet planned milestones
  • Manage the receipt of deliveries
  • Management and Operation controls outlined in the SHEQ Management Plan, including Safety, Environment and QA
  • Management and Control of onsite drawings
  • Direct liaison with the client to ensure timely sign off on hold points

In order to be successful for this role you must possess the following:

  • Civil Engineering Degree (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction
  • “Hands On” approach will be required
  • Plan reading, survey understanding and set out experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • A level of urgency and have the ability to think on their feet.
  • Ability to prioritise and plan activities with an understanding that operational requirements are the priority
  • Ability to liaise and engage with the workforce
